About This Role:Tria is seeking a OS Data Center Expert in support of our Navy Client in overseeing their and administering their Windows and Linux environments. The candidate will serve as a lead for the Data Center. The candidate will support the development of Virtualization solutions utilizing VMWare and Cloud technologies. The candidate will be an expert on new and emerging technologies and will research, analyze, evaluate and integrate new and emerging technologies in order to find ways to deliver a superior IT environment to the Navy client in a cost effective and secure manner. The candidate will support the continuing goal of incorporating these innovative technologies into Navy’s equipment modernization program.
Responsibilities:- Strong understanding of Windows and Server 2019 platforms
- Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Applications and Services (including, but not limited to WSUS, IIS, FTP, DNS, DFS, SCCM, and SCOM).
- Working knowledge of DNS configuration, MS Clustering services, SAN storage configuration, Terminal services, TCP/IP protocol, LDAP.
- Knowledge and experience applying Group Policy Objects in a Domain Environment.
- Extensive working knowledge around PKI, ADFS, Azure AD Connect, and O365 suite.
- MS Windows Server Security Configuration and Administration.
- PowerShell, VB Scripting, VM Ware Virtualization platform, Novell Netware knowledge
- Linux / Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Administration
- Experience troubleshooting HBSS product server issues and outages, administering policy catalog management, coordinating ASI details and planning as needed, maintaining system patches, maintaining O/S, SQL, maintaining the ePO server (automated tasks, task scheduler, database maintenance tasks, etc.) and HBSS STIG compliance and resolving ePO server (O/S, ePO, or SQL) issues
- Knowledge and experience in working with the McAfee Host Intrusion Prevention System
- Knowledge and experience in working with McAfee Data Loss Prevention Endpoint products
- McAfee HBSS ePO administration
- Microsoft Structured Query Language (SQL) server working knowledge
- Design, integrate, and deploy IT solutions in support of the Navy Data Center
- Provide operational engineering support to enterprise-level solutions using virtual server hosting, backup solutions, off-site data replication and service level storage solutions.
- Provision Virtual Machines and patches to the software and hardware hosting infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call after-hours support rotation, responding to support calls after hours/weekends/holidays/shutdowns.
- Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed diagrams and SOPs as needed.
- Proficient with fiber channel fabric/zoning/ logical unit number (LUN) management
- Proficient with the Administration and deployment of NetApp and Rack Server architecture, or equivalent platform capabilities
- HP 3PAR and cClass Blade architecture experience, or equivalent platform capabilities
- Proficient with disaster recovery preparedness, execution and administration using policy-based backup applications

The “Need-to-Have” Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum of 10 years of Windows server technologies experience including Active Directory, Group Policy Management and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementation
- Minimum 5 years of Linux server technologies experience including Active Directory, Group Policy Management and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) implementation
- Minimum of five years of VMWare Infrastructure experience
- Minimum of five years of SAN/Blade Server infrastructure experience
- Minimum of five years of experience in Information Security requirement implementations including the ability to ensure Information Assurance (IA) Vulnerability Alert (IAVA)/M and Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Security Technical Implementation Guidelines (STIG) compliance
- Minimum of five years of experience with HBSS implementations including the configuration and monitoring of HBSS Fragmentary Orders
- Minimum of five years of experience with Department of Defense (DoD) and DoN Cybersecurity controls including the use of STIGs, SRRs, and Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) implementation
