About This Role:Role Overview: Universal Consulting Services (UCS) a subsidiary of Tria Federal (Tria) is seeking a talented Material Expediter. The person in this role will support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Port Hueneme Division (NSWC PHD) Property Management Department.
Responsibilities:- Perform MILSTRIP verification for all NSWC PHD detachments. Other contractor Material Expediters perform same function for main PHD.
- Track ordered parts and materials for delivery to PHD customer
- Compare N-ERP, MILSTRIP, and KSD, and resolve discrepancies
- Create and update the tracking spreadsheet and upload in MS Teams
- Update customer inventory utilizing FedEx, UPS – Communicate with GSA, DLA, and GDSC to resolve issues
- Research status of ordered materials to update tracking and resolve delays
- Respond to DLA Service Desk tickets
- Movement of materials and assets
- Prepare materials for shipping
